Southern Offroad Championship Round 1 "Bang Tong Offroad 2020 Event " (Day 3)
Southern Offroad Championship Round 1 "Bang Tong Offroad 2020 Event " during Febuary 21th- 23th at Ban Bang Tong competition tracks, Tha Sala Sub-district, Tha Sala District, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province, Thailand were held by the competition Management Committee as Mr. Aphinan Chaowalit Mayor of Tha Sala Sub-district Administrative Organization and president of the competition, Mr Saiyut Yuttitham member of Parliament area 7 Nakhon Si Thammarat Province,
Mrs. Auey Phorn Sri Chaowalit member of Nakhon Si Thammarat Provincial Administrative Organization, Mr. Man Arliair President of the Southern Championship, together with the competition committee, Mr. Visoot Alee secretary of the administration organization of Thasala Sub-district Chairman of the competition, Committee of Darul Higma Masyid Ban Bang Tong Nuea and Ban Bang Tong Off Road Club
The purpose of competition as 1. To find income addition of the masyid building Darul Hikmah Bang Tong Nuea 2. To connect the relations of off-road members all the country 3. To stimulate the tourism economy of Tambon Tha Sala Nakhon Si Thammarat Province 4. To be a learning center for youth and people regarding the use of Off-road vehicles for safety.
The competition were divided into 6 categories 1. Open adventure category 2. Jungle adventure category A 3. Jungle adventure category B 4. Light core A category 5. Light core B category 6. Wisbone category. The off-road competitors of southern Thailand had 31 teams and competitors of Malaysia had 11 teams which in all totals 41 teams.
The race tracks were natural and imitating nature fields. The Competition rules used the rules of the Thailand Championship mixing with local rules. Mr.Chalermkiat boonchuay(Changbao) leader marshal of open adventure category (Mr.Siprut Klomkaew (Nong Ko) Mr.Thawatchai Surattanapram and Mr.Phongphan Phet Lek (Jaaphan) marshals open adventure category), Mr.Chookiat Kanghae (Chang Chu) Leader marshal of Jungle adventure category (Mr.Paphangkorn Kaewkla (Chang Nik) and Mr. Surasak Sriprasert (Nong M) marshals Jungle adventure), Mr.Abdul Honi Buntang (Bang Noom) Leader marshal of wishbone category (Mr.San Vong Sa Lah marshal Wishbone category), Mr. Adi Arliair (Bang Fad) Leader marshal of Light core category, Theerachai Benjaphan (Ko Thuek), Leader marshal of double line tracks (Mr. Suriya Dam Samut (Bangfat) Mr.Wichairat Thongrueang (Changdam) marshal of double line tracks), Mr.Adisorn Saivaree (Baelah) leader of Recovery,
Mr.Chavalit Fakkaew commentator and Mr.Abdullah Man mugem commentator and interpreter in Thai Malay and English and the new rule for competition queue had to draw lots in every SS.
The winners had received a trophy of honor from his excellency the Prime Minister General Prayut Chan-ocha, his excellency the Deputy Prime Minister General Prawit Wongsuwan, Mr Apinan Chaowalit the mayor of Tha Sala Sub-district Administrative Organization, Mrs. Auey Phorn Sri Chaowalit, a member of the Provincial Administrative Organization Nakhon Si Thammarat, and Mr Saiyut Yuttitham member of Parliament area 7 Nakhon Si Thammarat Province.The winners 1st - 5th open adventure category prize received 35,000 baht, 20,000 baht, 10,000 baht, 7,000 baht and 5,000 baht , Jungle adventure category A the winner 1st-5th place got the prize 15,000 baht 10,000 baht 5,000 baht 4,000 Baht and 3,000 baht, Jungle touring group B category the winners 1st-3rd received the prize money 4,000 baht 3,000 baht 1,500 baht , Light core B category the winners 1st-5th received the prize money 15,000 baht 10,000 5,000 baht 4,000 baht and 3,000 baht , Light core B category the winners received 1st-3th prize money 4,000 baht 3,000 baht 1,500 baht, Wisbone category prize the winner 1st-3rd received 4,000 baht, 3,000 baht 1,500 baht.
Day 1, February 21th, After the competition briefing had finished in the evening. Started the competition at night SS as Wishbone category competed for 1SS in SS1 with using a speed cross and slalom route approximately 500 meters. Light core category, Jungle adventure category and Open adventure category competed 2SS for SS1 using speeds cross and slalom route approximately 500 meters. For SS2 it were difficult route had mud and water a distance about 100 meters. The competition had created fun, thrilling, exciting and challenging for all competitors and off-road fans in the darkness until midnight.
Day 2 , February 22th, Wishbone category competed in 4SS (SS2-SS5) for 2SS dual tracks and 2SS single-tracks. Light core category and Jungle adventure category competed 5SS (SS3-SS7) in the 2SS dual tracks,speed crossing1SS, muddy and deep water 2SS. Open adventure category competed 5SS(SS3-SS7) in 2SS dual tracks and muddy,deep water 3SS. The competition had rain all day so all the tracks became tough which all competitors had to using fullest of their skills and experiences to passing the brutal and tough obstacles in every SS. All participates were exhausted long time until the end lately at midnight almost two o'clock.
The Final Day 3 , February 23th, Wishbone category competed in 2SS (SS7-SS8) in the dual route. Light core category,Jungle adventure category and open adventure category competed in 3SS (SS8-SS10) natural route in muddy and deep water 1SS and dual race tracks with muddy and deep water. It was the last day of the fighting and had some time heavy rain and all day raining made the tracks full of water and muddy. The battlefields offroad competition had the great fun,exciting and challenging for Thailand and Malaysia competitors and offroad fans all the time. And competed lately at night until ended about 9.00 p.m. in the midst of darkness.
