ฝากชาว WJ 6 สูบ และ โดยเฉพาะ WJ V8 ที่เปลี่ยนยาง ขนาดต่างจาก ที่ติดรถมา ว่า ต้อง set กล่อง TCM ( Transmission Module ) ให้ขนาดยาง ให้ตรงกับ ขนาดยางที่เปลี่ยนไป เพราะ รุ่นนี้ ไม่มีเฟืองไมล์ จะใช้สัญญาณจาก In ABS systems ทั้ง 4 ล้อ มาสั่งกล่อง เกียร์ TCM ให้เปลี่ยนเกียร์ หากไม่มีการ set pinion Factor ( certain RWD Vehicles ) จังหวะการเปลี่ยนเกียร์ รอบสูง และความเร็วที่แสดงหน้าเรือนไมล์ ก็จะ เพี้ยนไป อายุของเกียร์ ก็จะสั้นลง โดยเฉพาะ V8
วิธีปรับ ต้องใช้เครื่อง BRB III เข้าไป set ครับ
Pinion factor can be changed in the brake cab controller. Connect the DRB 3 to the vehicle's data connector. Select DRB "Standalone", then appropriate model year. Next, choose "Anti lock" from the diagnostic menu. After the DRB 3 reads module information from the vehicle, select "Miscellaneous" option brakes. Match the OEM tire size on the vehicle with the one of the tire sizes displayed on the DRB 3. If the vehicle does not have a CAB module, then the pinion factor will be programmed into the BCM, under "Miscellaneous"
