I think Khun ขนมิ้ง answered for me already. About the suspension set for a 2 in. lift, I don't know if you think the ride you have now is too soft or too firm for a 4 door RANGER. For a 2-dr. model, the ride is a bit too hard to begin with so a softer but firm ( ? ) set is suitable. If you need a ride like that, I think a set of OME should be the one for you. Just tell the shop that you need a comfortable ride. I think OME have different set-ups to choose. For a truely offroad use, there are many brands such as ProComp, Black Diamond XT, etc. Anyone who uses these is more qualified to answer than me. One thing I heard from the shop is that an adjustable shock has to be adjusted often to prevent the knob from getting stuck. After a while the mud and water can get inside and make it useless or the knob will be broken so you will end up with a one stage shock. If I were you, I would go up to 31 inches max. Remember that bigger tyre is also wider and heavier, so it will put a lot more stress on all suspension parts. RANGER comes with tyre that is about 27-28 inches, I think. So the company do not design all the parts to deal wirh much bigger and heavier tyre. If your RANGER is a show car, anything is OK.
